Assessment of seed promotion material

Description of the topic

The student will work closely with the CIMMYT markets and value chain team and the work will contribute to the AGG project.

Activities

  1. Literature study: Explore literature on advertising in agriculture and in general, nudging, POS material, and maize.
  2. Use literature study to analyse current advertising content for seed producers: what are succes factors? Which ads apply them?
  3. Develop questionnaire for producers, partners (seed producers, NARS…) to discuss marketing materials for seed promotion
  4. Collect data + Analyze data + Write extensive report on study, incorporate research design for future studies in this project
